RELP 4/12 – Reactions to the German ‘Energiewende’
Dear Mr Gao,
Following the Fukushima disaster, Germany’s announcement that it would shutter all of its nuclear facilities by 2022 has had significant ripple effects. Reactions across Europe and around the world have been highly contentious. This issue of the Renewable Energy Law and Policy Review contains various contributions addressing the challenges the German Energy Transformation is facing as well as reactions towards the Phase-Out of Germany in various countries. Alongside the special focus articles, this issue also includes insights on recent efforts to promote renewable energy developments in Taiwan and the implementation of the National Solar Mission in India.
